Waiting for answers

So there I was, drunk on BBC local radio. Friday nights, eh? 99% Sunshine and How Turns The Tide (especially) went well, and sounded good, I think. I managed to confuse the DJ with my half drunk talk of Ashes To Ashes by Bowie, supermarkets and my plans to drink continuously from friday to sunday. So that was good.

I also learnt a thing or two about speed dating and nearly won the "Guess The Sound" contest.

Hopefully, you (whoever "you" are) will be pleased to know that autorain are back together and making the most of rehearsal time by pumping out new songs... Waiting For Answers is great and very sing-along in a new wave type way and Superman Is Dead is a 16 minute long prog-rock-new-wave-speed-death-metal instrumental. Which is mental.

I've been listening to Depeche Mode for the first time in a very long time. They are a good band. Also The Futureheads, more Bloc Party, and Rival Schools. I've enjoyed myself. As usual.
